Who are we?
SafeUP is creating a safer reality for girls and women around the world.
Our community-based app connects women who seek support or help with trained guardians around them in real-time.
With safe communities in over a hundred countries across the globe, we are proud to provide an innovative solution to one of the most burning social issues of our time.
We are currently expanding our world-class team and looking for a Community Director to join and be an integral part of our mission.
What will you be doing

Spearhead a strong and engaged volunteer community through the creation and promotion of content and activities.

Locate, recruit, train, and accompany Community Managers and volunteers.

Develop and deliver training, lectures, and educational programs throughout Israel.

Partner and collaborate with public organisations and private companies.

Manage the Israeli marketing channels (SafeUP's Instagram and FB pages, Facebook communities, newsletter, etc.)

Supervise and provide a professional response during events and emergencies that arise within the communities.

Institute community protocols and assist in the implementation of grassroots initiatives

A true ambassador who can autonomously promote our mission and get people on our "change-wagon."

A go-getter, proactive, and ambitious personality; must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; public speaking, speaking on camera, storytelling, and content creation.

A people person with excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills.

Great time-management skills and ability to multitask.

Excellent knowledge of social media management tools and trends (such as Facebook, Instagram)

Former experience in managing volunteers and/or communities - an advantage.

Availability for immediate work at flexible hours.
